Do you have a balcony yearning for a makeover? A tired backyard in need of some TLC? Terrace Outdoor Living is here to turn your small outdoor space into a vibrant haven.
Founded by design duo Paul Hopper and Bianca Moore, Terrace Outdoor Living in Woollahra, NSW brings together their expertise in interior design and horticulture to create stunning green living and working areas.
Whether you crave a flourishing balcony garden or a tranquil workspace patio, they’ve got you covered.
What truly sets Terrace apart is an innovative approach to small-space design. They specialize in transforming balconies, courtyards, and even neglected backyards into beautiful functional spaces.
But Paul and Bianca’s unique service goes beyond just selling plants. They offer expert advice on everything from choosing the perfect greenery to selecting furniture and pots that complement your style.

“The design process starts with an initial on-site consultation. From there we can either be involved in individual elements of your project or manage the entire process from design through to installation, planting and ongoing maintenance,” Paul and Bianca explained.
Paul and Bianca’s backgrounds in interior design and horticulture give them a fresh perspective, ensuring a truly unique outdoor space.
They hand-pick every plant and oversee every step of the process, guaranteeing the best quality and care.
But Terrace isn’t just about creating gorgeous green spaces; it’s about fostering a welcoming and inclusive community. Paul, who identifies as queer, and lifelong ally Bianca want everyone to feel valued and respected.
“We were thrilled to be part of the WorldPride celebrations last year with our stall with American Express and we also helped with this year’s Sissy Ball Garden of Eden design for Mardi Gras,” Paul and Bianca said.
“In an industry often seen as a traditional labour focused industry we wanted to make sure Terrace was a more open and friendly environment for everybody.
“Diversity enriches all our lives, just like a garden thrives with a variety of plants.”
